Grace M. (Criasia) Travis, 95,

Grace M. (Criasia) Travis, 95, of Milford, passed away December 31, 2023 at her home. She was the wife of the late William F. Travis Sr. who passed away in 2017. She was born in Brooklyn NY, daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Galdorise) Criasia and moved to Milford in 1945. She was educated in the Brooklyn NY schools. Grace retired in 1989 from the Star Market where she was employed as a clerk.        

She is survived her children, Michael Travis of Medfield, William F. Travis Jr of Milford, Linda Douglas of Waterville ME, Rose Chandonnais of Whitinsville, Shirley Bodreau of Franklin, one brother Mario Criasia of Douglas, eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Heather Bodreau, two brothers William Criasia and Anthony Criasia.          

The funeral will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 5 East Main St. The burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford.  Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M.
