Josephine “Jo” A. (Tocci) Chamberlin, 89

Josephine “Jo” A. (Tocci) Chamberlin, 89, of Milford, died Thursday morning, December 31, 2015 at the Blackstone Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Everett J. “Ernie” Chamberlin for 53 years, who passed in 2012.
She was born in Hopedale, MA, the daughter of the late Giacomo and Maria (Sappia) Tocci, and was educated in the Milford Schools. She retired in 2005, having worked for many years as a hairdresser in the area.
She was the loving mother of Darren T. and his wife Susan (Donahue) Chamberlin of Milford, and David J. and his wife Sheryl (Tupper) Chamberlin of Blackstone. Sister of Virginia Lioce of Hopedale, Jenny Tosches of Milford, and Dominic Tocci of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren,  and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Joseph Shippiro, Benjamin Tocci, Antionette Caniano, Irma Cervino, and Helen Delmar.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 8:30-9:30AM at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. in Milford Ma., followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 A.M. at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church, 27 Pearl St., Milford, MA.  Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford Ma.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blackstone Nursing Home, Activities Fund, 8 Butler St., Blackstone, MA 01504.

To the family, and most of all my Aunt Susan and Uncle Darren, My mothers Sister and my godmother. This will be a tough week for u all . My Uncle Darren who is a great, hard working, loving father and son lost his Mom this past week, who he loved more then words. Their children, my cousins , Kristen ,Brendan and Lauren will be bye their side to support them. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of them as their Family as you all come together to morn and say good bye, as a military soldier who Darren always showed so much appreciation to and my uncle I SALUTE YOU AND YOUR MOM AND DAD, who saluted me and the military. So sorry to hear about Auntie Josie. I remember her fondly, and when she used to dye my dad's beard and hair. She was always so cheerful and upbeat. She was the quintessential "Italian Auntie". Our sincerest sympathies to Darrin and David and all family who will miss her.
