Josephine M. (Tomaso) Keene, 96,

Josephine M. (Tomaso) Keene, 96, of Milford, passed away December 10, 2015 at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich. She was the wife of the late Royal W. Keene who passed away in 2005. She was born in Milford daughter of the Calogero and Domitella (Liberto) Tomaso and was a lifelong Milford resident. She was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1937. Josephine was a homemaker caring for her husband and children for many years. She also was employed as a seamstress in Milford. She was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
         She is survived by her children, Dennis Keene and his wife Barbara of Milford, James Keene and his wife Lauren of Mashpee, Janis Keene Mattozzi and her husband Kenneth Mattozzi of Osterville, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.          
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 12 noon in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
A calling hour will be held prior to the funeral mass from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA.  
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the McCarthy Care Center 73 Service Rd Sandwich MA 02563
