I was so sorry to hear that Jackie has passed. I've worked with her since she first came to UMMHC. We used to have lunch together daily when we were at University Campus and she always shared wonderful stories of her musical, talented family. She was so proud of all of you. I felt like I knew you all. She was a wonderful, warm person with a sweet smile and always a sparkle in her eyes. She was such a positive, caring friend (always asking about everyone else, despite what she was experiencing). She was an absolute inspiration. My deepest condolences. I hope your fond memories of this amazing woman give you peace.

The whole McGrath family was like a second family of mine. Mr. and Mrs. McGrath always welcomed me into their home at all hours of the day. I will never forget those countless shopping trips Mrs. McGrath took Paige and I on, always smiling and making sure we didn't but anything non-age appropriate. I will truly miss the deep conversations we had, for Mrs. McGrath always had advice to give and I loved to listen. Jackie McGrath was an incredible mother, wife and friend and I will deeply miss her. I send love to the entire family. <3

Jackie was the first to take me under her wing when I first started working for Cytology almost 15 yrs ago. With so much patience; She taught me everything I needed to know to get me started when I didn't even have any medical terminology at the time. I will always appreciate her and will never forget her lovely smile she always had for me. My condolences to her family.

Dearest Paigers - Much love and positive thoughts coming to you and your family during this time...

So many at UMASS will miss Jackie! She was a tremendously powerful influence in the Cytology section, saving many lives in her career by detecting precancerous changes with great accuracy and dedication. What a horrible irony that she had to suffer from cancer herself! She was also kind, with a strong sense of what is the right thing to do. I will remember her fondly. My strongest feelings of sympathy go out to her family.
Andrew Fischer

How lucky I was to call her "my best friend". Childhood friends are like none others....you share so many special times growing up. My heart aches for all of you at this very sad time....sending you our love and deepest sympathy...
