Louis E. Maietta, 86

    Louis E. Maietta, 86, of Milford, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in the Medway Country Manor in Medway. He was the husband of Jeanne (Tocci) Maietta for 59 years. He was born in Milford, son of the late Emilio and Mary (Ferrucci) Maietta and was a life long Milford resident. He was educated in the Milford schools and Wagner School of Art in Boston.
      He was a World War II Army veteran serving in the 82nd Infantry Division in the European Theater.
      Mr. Maietta retired in 1985 from General Motors formerly located in Framingham.
      He was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a member of the Hoboken Citizen’s Club and the Swinging Seniors Bowling League.
     In addition to his wife he survived by his children Michael and his wife Joanne (Ferrucci) Maietta Upton, Robert Maietta and his wife Kim  Larrabee of North Stonington CT, Marybeth Maietta-Greene of Milford, Steven and his wife Janice (Boucher) Maietta of Mendon, three grandchildren Amelia and Ian Maietta of Mendon, and Matthew Greene of Milford, and a sister, Maryann (Maietta) Guido of Milford.
   He was predeceased by his brothers, Peter and Arthur Maietta and sister, Lucy (Maietta) Gillam, all of Milford. 
  The funeral will be held Monday, September 17, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St Milford Ma. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. 
  Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Rd. in Milford. 
  Calling hours are Sunday from 4 to 8 P.M.
