Sara M. “Boomie” (Ferrante) Stoico, 75

          Sara M. “Boomie” (Ferrante) Stoico, 75, of Milford, where she has been a life long resident, died Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the Milford Regional Medical Center.
         She was the wife of 55 years to Robert L. Stoico. Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Conza) Ferrante.  Mrs. Stoico was educated in the Sacred Heart School, and graduated from Milford High School, class of 1954. She received her business degree from Becker Jr. College in 1956. She most recently had worked as a secretary for the National Guard in Milford, prior to which, she had worked at the Milford Hospital for over 35 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, and the former Sicilian Club.
           In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Robin J. Salmon and her husband Patrick of Milford, Robert V. Stoico of Hopedale, and Tina M. Saggio of Hopedale, four grandchildren, Steven Calitri, Sara Salmon, Adam Salmon, and Abigail Saggio, and 2 great-grandchildren, Madison Calitri and Rafael Perez. She was predeceased by her sister Frances Ruscitti.
           The funeral will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 11 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St Milford Ma. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 12 P.M. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. in Milford. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford.
           Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
