Pasquale M. Zampino, 96

    Pasquale M. Zampino, 96, of Milford, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 in the Blaire House of Milford. He was the husband of Fannie L. (Scirocco) Zampino of 69 years. He was born in Milford, son of the late Leonardo and Modesta (Iadarola) Zampino and lived in Milford most of his life. He was educated in the Hopedale schools. He was a World War II Army Veteran.
    Mr. Zampino retired in 1971 from the General Service Administration in Boston where he was employed as a supervisor. He was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
    In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter Patricia A. and her husband Harry Pond of Milford, one sister Florence DeLoia of Hopedale, two grandchildren, Diane and her husband Joseph Luchini of Hopedale, Julie and her husband Lou Miano of Milford, four great grandchildren Matthew Luchini and Marissa Luchini both of Hopedale, Anthony Miano and Benjamin Miano both of Milford, many nieces and nephews.
   He was predeceased by his son Mark Zampino, three brothers Michael Zampino, Albert Zampino and Peter Zampino, two sisters Marie Thomas and Annette Strapponi.
   A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday June 22, 2012 at 11 A.M. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St.
   Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
   Calling hours will be held Friday prior to funeral mass from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M. in the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. in Milford Ma.
