Pasquale Chinappi, 89
Pasquale Chinappi, 89,
of Milford, died April 27, 2012 in the Countryside Healthcare of Milford. He was the husband of the late Concetta (Lazzarino) Chinappi who died in 1989. He was born in Gaeta, Italy, son of the late Antonio and Rosa (Lazzarino) Chinappi and was a life long Milford resident. He was a graduate of the Milford High school class of 1942. He was a World War II Army Veteran.
Mr. Chinappi retired in 1979 from the former Draper Corp. in Hopedale Ma., where he was employed as a machinist.
He was a founding member and past commander of the Milford Italian Veterans, and a member of the Italian Veterans Bocce league.
He is survived by three sons Anthony J. Chinappi of Milford and his companion Nancy Castiglione of Hopedale, Cosmo and his wife Kathryn (Owens) Chinappi of Mendon, Robert Chinappi of Wareham and his companion Lisa McCormack of Falmouth, one brother Vincent Chinappi of Hopedale, sister-in-law Elvira Chinappi of Milford, a nephew Anthony L. Chinappi of Milford, one grandson Andrew and his wife Erin (Lockwood) Chinappi of Uxbridge.
He was predeceased by his brother Louis Chinappi.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 9 AM from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA. A mass of Christian burial be held at 10 A.M. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St in Milford Ma.
The burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 to 8 P.M.
