Vincent L. Macaluso, 72

Vincent L. Macaluso, 72, of Milford, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the Countryside Healthcare in Milford. He was the husband of Doreen M. (Dew) Macaluso of 43 years. He was born in Boston, son of the late Joseph and Sarah (Badagliacca) Macaluso and lived in Boston before moving to Milford in 1969. He was a graduate of the Roslindale High School class of 1956. Mr. Macaluso retired in 1998 from the Bull Information Systems in Billerica, where he was employed as an accountant. In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters Donnamarie and her husband Charles DuPont of Franklin, Kimberly and her husband Jason Briggs of Blackstone, five grandchildren, Danielle DuPont, Haley DuPont, and Justin DuPont all of Franklin, Morgan Briggs and Kayla Briggs both of Blackstone. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Lanza. The funeral will be held Friday, December 23, 2011 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. in the St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church on Winter St. in Milford. The burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery on Cedar St. in Milford. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.

Dear Dee - I'm so sorry to hear of Vinnie's passing. Although I've pretty much lost communication with all my cousins, it doesn't diminish the memories of growing up together and the family functions we use to have. Until he died in January, my Dad kept me up to date with all our relatives. Please accept my condolences at this sad time.
