Joyce M (Morelli) Dean 69

Joyce M (Morelli) Dean 69, of Hopedale, died Sunday October 9, 2011, in the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Dwaine Dean of 53 years. She was born in Milford daughter of the late Christopher and Elsie (Teixeira) Morelli and lived in Milford before moving to Hopedale in 1967. Mrs. Dean was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1960. She retired in 1983 from the former Morelli’s Family restaurant in Milford. Mrs. Dean was an antique collector, she loved cooking, and being with her family and grandchildren.  In addition to her husband she is survived by one son Brian C. and his wife Jessie (Julian) Dean of Hopedale, one daughter Cheryl A. and her husband Peter McWade of Pevely MO, one brother Christopher Morelli of Milford, five sisters Maureen Belair and Patricia Duquette both of NH, Albertina Frederick of Milford, Elsie Carlucci of Franklin, Diane DiLorenzo of Mendon, three grandchildren Jonathan McWade of Peverly MO, Brianna Dean and Amelia Dean both of Hopedale.    
       The funeral will be held Friday October 14, 2011 at 9 AM from the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral 46 Water St. in Milford. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 AM in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. in Milford. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Rd. in Milford. Calling Hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 8 PM.
