Roxy M. (Gigarjian) Ryan, 93,

  Roxy M. (Gigarjian) Ryan, 93, of Hopedale, died peacefully,Monday, September 19, 2011 in the Milford Care and Rehabilitation Center in Milford. She was 2 days shy of her 94th birthday. She was the wife of the late John Ryan who died in 1973. She was born in Newton, daughter of the late Hacob and Rose (Avakian) Gigarjian and resided in Hopedale since 1982. She was a graduate of the Northbridge High School. Mrs. Ryan retired in 1984 from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy where she was employed as a bookkeeper. She loved to be with her family especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a huge Red Sox and Patriot fan. She also loved to play bingo and trips to the casino. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Boston. She is survived by three sons Richard  and his wife Susan (Stone) Thomson of Hopedale, Gerald  and his wife Rosemary (Creighton) Thomson of Milford, Dennis and his wife Maureen (Reynolds) Thomson of Quincy, one brother George Gigarjian of Whitinsville, two sisters Anne Duso of Patterson Ca, Elizabeth Hobbs of Anaheim Ca, seven grandchildren, Linda and her husband James Halloran, Ronald and his wife Talene Thomson, Amanda Thomson, Corey Thomson, Susan and her husband Michael McIsaac, Danielle Thomson and David Thomson, and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson Dennis Thomson , two brothers Nicholas Gigarjian, John Gigarjian, three sisters Margaret Carrella, Helen Gigarjian and Nevart Santucci.             Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 23, 2011 at 10 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury. Visiting hours are Friday morning prior to the mass from 8 to 9:30 A.M. in the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St Milford, MA .
