Anthony M. Guerino Sr., 76,

Anthony M. Guerino Sr., 76, of Milford, died Saturday, July 23, 2011, in his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Josephine A. (Stizza) Guerino of 54 years. He was born in Milford son of Christine (Sannicandro) Guerino of Milford and the late Dominic Guerino. Mr. Guerino was a life long Milford resident. He was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1953. He attended the Academy of Advanced Traffic in New York City. He was a Korean War Navy Veteran. Mr. Guerino was employed as a Traffic manger at the former Zayres Corp. until 1985. He was also employed at the Micro Smart Company and Shaw’s Supermarkets in shipping and receiving. He was a communicant of the St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church. In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by one son Anthony M. Guerino Jr. and his fiancée Erika Richards of Durham NH, two daughters Michele A. and her husband Vincent Mercuri of Sudbury, Lisa M. and her husband Joseph Calagione of Milford, one sister Geraldine and her husband Gino Minardi of Mendon, and a brother-in-law and sister-law Dennis and his Andrea (Burns) Stizza of CA., nine grandchildren, Leanne Hoffman of Worcester, Jarod Corey, Bethany Hoffman and Jordan Corey all of Milford, Delaney Guerino, Reed Guerino and Kinley Guerino all of Durham NH, Adria Mercuri and Lauren Mercuri both of Sudbury. The funeral will be held Thursday July 28, 2011 and 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 A.M. in the St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church on Winter St. The burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Rd. in Milford. The calling hours are Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M.
