Lucy D. (Spallone) Bibbo, 88,

Lucy D. (Spallone) Bibbo, 88, of Milford, died Tuesday June 14, 2011 in the Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Anthony M. Bibbo who died in 2004. She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Vincenzo and Jennie (Parente) Spallone and was a life long Milford resident. She was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1940 and also was the class Valedictorian. Mrs. Bibbo was also a graduate of the Boston University class of 1944. In 1944 she was employed as the secretary to Chief of Surgery at the former Cushing Hospital in Framingham. In 1949 she began her teaching career in the Milford schools at the Spruce St. School continued at the Memorial School and in 1983 she retired from the Woodland school in Milford as a 2nd grade teacher. She was a communicant at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She is survived by one son William A. Bibbo Esq. and his wife Diane Bouffard-Bibbo both of Waltham, one daughter Cynthia and her husband Dr. Donald Grimes of Milford, one sister Lena and her husband Joseph Calagione of Milford and three grandchildren: Christopher Grimes and Jennifer Grimes both of Milford, Anthony James Grimes of Orlando FL. The funeral will be held Saturday June 18, 2011 at 7 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 8 A.M. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Rd in Milford Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 to 7 P.M.

So sorry to hear of the death of your Mom, she was such a lovely person. I remember visiting with her and Lena next door at your Grandparents house when we lived on Beach Street Ext. she was very kind.
