Anne M. (Gallo) Nappi, 83,

Anne M. (Gallo) Nappi, 83, of Milford, died Sunday, March 27, 2011 in the Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Martin T. Nappi who died in 2006. She was born in Staten Island NY daughter of the late Salvatore and Giustina (Capuano) Gallo and lived in Staten Island before moving to Milford in 1969. Mrs. Nappi was a graduate of the McKee Vocation and Technical High School class of 1945. Mrs. Nappi retired in 1991 from the former Zayre Corp. in Framingham where she was employed as an accounting clerk.  Prior to that Mrs. Nappi was employed for the New York Telephone Company for many years. She was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Hopedale, a member of the Milford Sunshine Squares - Square Dancing Club, and a volunteer at the Milford Regional Medical Center, working in the Medical Center Gift Shop for over 10 years. She is survived by one son Martin V. and his wife Deborah A. (Franks) Nappi of Milford, one sister Theresa Borrell of Staten Island NY, two grandchildren, Thomas Nappi, Amanda Nappi and one great granddaughter Chloe Nappi all of Milford and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Thomas Gallo and Michael Gallo. The funeral will be held Thursday, March 31, 2011, at 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church on Hopedale St. Hopedale MA. Burial will follow in the Hopedale Village Cemetery in Hopedale MA. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
