Congetta I. Cugini, 93, of Milford died Thursday, February 24, 2011 in Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Milford. She was born in Milford daughter of the late Theodore and Elizabeth (DiBattista) Cugini and was a life long Milford resident. She was educated in the Milford schools.
Ms. Cugini retired in 1976 from the former Lish Hat Factory and Milford Shoe Company in Milford.
She was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a member of the Sacred Heart Women’s Club.
She is survived by one sister Lucy and her husband Henry Iafolla of Milford, eight nieces and nephews, Theodore and his wife Brenda Cugini of Whitinsville, Joanne Cugini of Vero Beach FL, Joseph and his wife Landa Capuzziello, Louis and his wife Silvana Colabello, Betty Colabello all of Milford, Mary-Lou and her husband David DeStefano of Holliston , ten great-nieces and great-nephews..
She was predeceased by John Cugini, Esther Colabello and Rose Capuzziello.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday March 1, 2011 at 10 A.M. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St.
Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Rd. in Milford.
