Anne-Marie H.R. Batchelder (Leclaire), 86

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Anne-Marie H.R. Batchelder (Leclaire), on June 2, 2023, widow of William A. Batchelder Sr., Born December 21, 1936 at Chaumont, France. As a French civilian employee she served with the USAF in Europe from 1954 to 1964 as a member of the 48th TFW, 7415th Spt Gp, 7544th Spt Gp, 366th TFW, and 7366th Spt Gp. In the Springfield area she worked for the Wesson Hospital, American Bosch and Mestek. She was a life member of the Air Force Sergeants Association and of the Sampson Air Force Base Veterans Association, a member of the Gold Star Wives and of the 366th Fighter Association. She was predeceased by her son William A. Batchelder II of Ohio and survived by son Fred H. Batchelder of Springfield, MA; her grandchildren Jason H. Batchelder and his wife Johanna S. Batchelder, Wilfred R. Batchelder and Lorelei C. Batchelder: her great grand-daughter Marinah A. Foley, her nephews Nicolas Leclaire, Alexandre Leclaire and Matthieu Leclaire of Chaumont, France and all of her wonderful cousins. The funeral will be a private ceremony with only close family members present.
