David T. Julian, 74

David T. Julian, also known as "D.J." passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Milford Regional Hospital at the age of 74 surrounded by family. He was born on August 11, 1948 in Milford to Hugo and Josephine (Bonina) Julian. He is survived by his former wife Patricia (Skerry) Julian of Salem, MA, his children Jacquelyn Julian of Salem, MA and David T. Julian Jr. of Milford, MA, his brother Michael Julian and his wife Cathy Julian of Hopedale, his sister-in-law Jodi (Grillo) Julian of Hopedale and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Joanne (Julian) Blasio and Paul Julian, both of Milford.

David graduated from Milford High School in 1966 and excelled in sports, playing baseball and football. He went on to pursue a lifelong career at the gas company, National Grid, where he worked for 45 years. He was known for his strong work ethic and his willingness to lend a helping hand to his family and friends. David was an avid golfer and a member of the Hopedale Country Club. He enjoyed playing golf at many courses around the country. He was also a talented guitar player and was a member of the band named, The Daytona's, in his heyday. He loved to listen to classic rock and loved to rock-‘n’-roll. He was an ambitious Karaoke singer. David had a sense of humor that anyone would envy and he loved to joke and make people laugh. He was a member of many social clubs including the Italian Vets Post #44, Marchegiano Club and the Hoboken Club. He enjoyed spending time at the casino, playing cards, playing pool, and traveling.

David will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water Street, Milford, MA from 1 to 4 PM followed by a funeral home service.

My sincere condolences to David's family. I knew David since Kindergarten. We went to the Plains school and graduated together. He would always be so kind, always smiling and sang a great "Rosalita" at karaoke. We all had a great time. I just learned of his passing as I now live out of state. I was very shocked and sad to read this obituary. God keep him in your care.

To the Julian family, my condolences to you in the recent loss of your loved one, DJ. Having grown up in Milford we get to know one another early in life and I'm happy to say I've known David for many years, starting with Little League and his time on the Foggiano Club. School also brought us together as did other social events in our lives. I loved DJ. He was friendly, funny, quick on his feet and with his hands and that smile got you all the time! I've haven't seen Dave in years, but memories come rushing back when I think of his name.
