Joseph V. Scalia Jr. 84, of Uxbridge, passed away April 15, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Maureen (Spaulding) Scalia for 58 years. He was born Newton son of the late Joseph Scalia Sr. and Mary (Sukols) Scalia and lived in Waltham before moving to Uxbridge. He was a graduate of Waltham High Vocational School. He was a Navy veteran and also a former member of the Massachusetts National Guard.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, David Scalia and his wife Tracy of Marston Mills, Monica and her husband Keith Cassidy of Hopedale, six grandchildren, one sister Barbara Freemyer of Orange.
Private funeral services and burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery. In Bourne MA.
