Nicholas L. LaPorta, 74,

Nicholas L. LaPorta, 74, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Nick was a lifelong resident of Milford. Nick is predeceased by his parents Rose (Tosches) and Biagio LaPorta, as well as his twin brother Anthony, who passed in May 2020. Nick was a loving husband to his wife Alice (Burns), formerly of Worcester, Ma.

He was a wonderful and caring father to his children, Amy LaPorta of Milford and his son, Brian LaPorta of Cape Coral, Fl. He also leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Robin LaPorta and grandchildren Pamela Ellsworth of Southbridge, Ma, and Robert Ellsworth and his wife Emily Hitt of Newport Ritchie, Fl.

Nick was a graduate of Milford High School in 1965 and worked for Avery Dennison in Framingham for more than 25 years. He retired from Papa Gino’s in Milford in 2003. He was well loved by all who knew him. He was an avid sports fan, with a particular love for the Red Sox and Patriots. He retained his sense of humor throughout his illness. Much gratitude to Preferred Transitions VNA and Salmon Hospice for their kindness and patience for their care in service to Nicholas. He will be sorely missed.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 10 A.M. in the St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Winter St.   Burial will be private at St. Mary’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
