Jan Eva Cameron, 86,

Jan Eva Cameron, 86, of Milford, Massachusetts, passed away on September 10th, 2021 while a resident of Hebrew Rehabilitation Center in Boston.  She was the wife of the deceased Theodore G. Cameron.  Jan was born February 24th, 1935 in Flushing, Queens, New York.  She was the daughter of Harold and Lucille Marsh, who were both from Vermont.  Prior to moving to Milford in 1989, Jan and her family lived in Sudbury, Massachusetts, and for many years in Turnersville, New Jersey. 

Jan had retired from a position with IDG Corporation in Framingham, where she had worked for many years.  She was very active in her church, Mendon Church, and was deeply committed to her faith and her church family.  She was also very active in the Milford Senior Center over the past decade, participating in many activities and often working at the front desk. 

Jan loved her family, her family roots in Vermont, and adored her 9 grandchildren and her nephew Gianni.   In addition to her husband, Jan is preceded in death by her brother, Harold Neil Marsh of Barre, Vermont, and her beautiful daughter, Bonnie Jean Colantonio. Jan is survived by her sister, Michele Civitello of Hauppauge NY, her nephew, Gianni Loffredo (Hauppauge, NY) , her cousin Steve Clark (Jamaica, VT), and her two sons, Douglas Cameron (Wellesley, MA) and Bruce Cameron (Mt. Bethel, PA).  Jan is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Jennifer Ager (Colantonio) (Reston, VA), Janine and Kristin Colantonio (Purcellville, VA), Noelle, Leanna, and Allison Cameron (Wellesley, MA), Matthew and Anna Cameron (Mt. Bethel, PA), and Torrey Cameron (Warrenville, IL).

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 18th, 2021 at the Vernon Grove Cemetery in Milford, MA. There are no calling hours.

Arrangement are under the direction of the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St. Milford.

I enjoyed my conversations with Jan over the years. We both attended water aerobics in the past and following those times, I spoke with Jan at the senior center. She was a lovely person and I will miss her.
