Ana L. (Mendoza) Rivera, 69, of Bellingham formerly of Milford, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 in her home. She was the wife of Heriberto Rivera. She was born Guayma, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Moises and Carmen (Navarro) Mendoza and moved to Milford in 1983. Ana was a caretaker for many special needs children in the Milford area for many years.
She was a loving mother and especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Heriberto Rivera and his wife Kellie of Pascoag RI, Angel Rivera and his wife Julissa of Milford, Alex Rivera of Pascoag RI, Wanda and her husband Santo Nunez of Milford, Ana Rivera of Milford, Glenda Rivera of Milford, Zoe and her husband Omar Morrero of Milford, five brothers, Neftali Mendoza, Angel Mendoza, Jorge Mendoza all of Puerto Rico, Franklin Mendoza of PA, Moises Mendoza of NJ, three sisters, Carmen Mendoza of PA, Dilliam Mendoza of Puerto Rico, Johana Mendoza of PA. She was predeceased by her grandson Moises “Bam Bam” Rivera.
A funeral home service will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 11 A.M. at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. The burial will follow in the Vernon grove Cemetery on Depot St. in Milford. Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 P.M.
