Jerry J. Puntonio Sr., 91, of Milford passed away Sunday June 20, 2021 at the Genesis Healthcare Center in Milford. He was the husband of the late Dorothy P. (Minucci) Puntonio who passed away in 2011. He was born in Milford son of the late Sabino and Rose (DiBari) Puntonio and was a lifelong Milford resident. He was educated in the Milford schools.
Jerry retired in 1988 from the former General Motors Corporation in Framingham where he was employed as an assembler. He was a pilot for many years and loved to fly.
He is survived by his children, Jerry J. Puntonio Jr. of Milford and Kathleen Stockwell of Westport and one granddaughter Heather Stockwell.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 5 East Main St. Milford. The burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
A calling hour will be held prior to the funeral Mass from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St.
