Henry “Hank” W. Horne Jr., 72

        Henry “Hank” W. Horne Jr., 72 of Milford, MA passed away July 31, 2019 at Milford Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Born in Framingham, MA on August 27, 1946. He was the son of Henry & Henrietta (Boyd) Horne, of Canada and raised by his Aunt Anna Decoff of Ashland, MA. He was married to Linda (Stevens) Horne for (47) years.          

    Hank graduated from Ashland High School in 1965. He most recently worked for New England Steak & Seafood in Mendon, MA for the past (20) years. Prior to that he worked at the former Marconi’s Restaurant in Ashland, MA.          

     He is survived by his children; Jennifer A. Leeman and her husband Brian Leeman of Milford, MA Tara L. Evers and her husband Sean Evers of Oxford, MA their children and Henry’s grandchildren Alyssa & Mackenzie Evers, who referred to him as “Papa”. Hank is also survived by many siblings.

    Hank enjoyed spending his free time at his home enjoying his beautiful landscaped yard with beautiful perennial gardens & flowers. Hank was an avid New England sports fan; he loved watching the New England Patriots with his family!! He also loved when we would all get together for Birthday dinners & Holidays. He will be missed greatly.          

    A funeral home service will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 11 A.M. at the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water Street, Milford, MA 01757.          

    Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral home service from 8:30 to 11 A.M.

    Donations may be made to the American Lung Association in memory of Henry W. Horne.

I was just notiified of the passing of Hank and I want to offer my deepest condolences to his wife and children and siblings.. I never knew Hank over all these years but I am very sorry to hear of his passing. May all the fond memories of him help everyone to get through this very sad time. He is now an ANGEL up above to watch over everyone and I am sure he will be missed deeply.

We will always remember when Hank grilled us up the best meals and at the same time managed to grill us about our childhood shenanigans An commend us years later for the adults and parents we became.
