Bridget "Breda" (Tierney) Lane

 

Bridget "Breda" (Tierney) Lane passed away on October 11, 2018 at the age of 78. Born in Castleconnell, Limerick, Ireland, and eldest of eight, Breda emigrated at the age of 18 to the U.S. in 1959 and has been a resident ever since. 

    Wife of more than 51 years to husband Goodwin "Pat", mother of Sean Lane and his wife Doreen; Godwin and his wife Fiona; and Brian and his wife Morgan. Grandmother of Caitlin, Conor, Caroline, Madison, Rose, and Thomas.  Also survived by sister’s Noreen Tierney and Hannah Ryan and numerous nieces and nephews.

    The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 18 at Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home in Milford from 5-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Milford on Friday, October 19 at 10 am.

To Bridget's family and friends, please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. It's so hard to lose someone we love, but the seeming finality of death is what makes it especially difficult. Job 14:14,15 gives us confidence that Jehovah God yearns to bring back to life the dead who are preserved in his memory. The Bible gives us a wonderful hope of living in a paradise on earth and seeing the resurrection of our dead loved ones.
