Sharon L. (Kelley) Howland, 70

Sharon Lorraine (Kelley) Howland, 70, of Medway, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on September 5th, 2018 at Milford Regional Medical Center.  The family’s deepest gratitude to the Palliative Care Team and all of the staff of the ICU and the 5th Floor of MRMC who cared for our Wife/Mother/Grandmother as if she was your own.  Your care, support and empathy not only to Sharon but to all of us during this incredibly difficult time will never be forgotten.Sharon was born in Framingham, MA daughter to the late Earl Kelley and Vera (Leach) Kelley.

Sharon resided in Medway most of her adult life.  She loved nature and all it had to offer, she had a huge love for horses, early on and as a family every summer we would share lots of family time together camping anytime we could.  She retired from Wonder Bread in Natick in 1998 as the Lead in Accounts Receivable after over 30 years service.

Sharon is survived by her loving and devoted Husband George W. Howland Jr. of Medway,  her adoring children Sherry Currrier of Bellingham, MA and George W. Howland III and his fiancé Heather Newell of Medway.  Sharon is also survived by her sister Joan Greene and her husband Leonard Greene of Mystic, CT her brother James E. Kelley and his wife Priscilla (Holdsworth) Kelley of Royalston, MA and her brother Joseph C. Kelley II and his wife Catherine (Bowman) Kelley of Brockton.Sharon also cherished her 5 grandchildren Megan and Samantha Currier of Bellingham (Sharon and George were/are known as “Beanie and Eepa” to them, an endearment Megan coined for her grandparents as a young child) and Brandon Howland, Toni Howland and Jared Howland all of Medway, all of whom she loved dearly!

A calling hour will be held Friday September 21, 2018  at 10 AM followed by a service at 11 AM from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home at 46 Water Street, Milford MA.  A private burial will be held at a later date.

To Sharon's family and friends, please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. It's so hard to lose someone we love, but the seeming finality of death is what makes it especially difficult. Job 14:14,15 gives us confidence that Jehovah God yearns to bring back to life the dead who are preserved in his memory. The Bible gives us a wonderful hope of living in a paradise on earth and seeing the resurrection of our dead loved ones. (Luke 23:43; John 5:28,29) May this bring you some comfort and strength, remembering that soon God will wipe away our tears and swallow up death forever. (Isaiah 25:8)
