Edward “Ed” Dembinski, 77, a lifelong resident of Webster, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born and raised in Webster, Ed was a graduate of Bartlett High School and went on to earn his degree from Boston State College (now UMass Boston). Soon after high school, he answered the call to serve his country and was proud to be a United States Navy veteran.
Ed built a long and respected career as a Human Resources executive, working for many local businesses over the years. He was known for his steady guidance, fairness, and genuine concern for the people he worked with. Colleagues remember him as a patient listener and trusted mentor who always tried to do what was right.
Outside of work, Ed was at home outdoors. He was an avid hiker who loved being on a quiet trail. At home, he found joy tending to his garden, taking pride in each season’s flowers and vegetables. Ed especially treasured his time by the lake, where some of his happiest days were spent on his boat with family, taking swims, and relaxing in his chair with his beloved golden retriever, Miller, by his side.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Anne (Murphy); his daughters Melanie Moroney and her husband Mike of Oxford and Amy Panagiotou and her husband George of Webester; his brother John of New Hampshire; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents Anthony and Dororthy (Penkala) Dembinski of Webster.
At Ed’s request there will be no memorial services.
