Ronald St. Gelais, 65

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald St. Gelais, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 65. He passed away peacefully after a period of declining health, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on February 21, 1960, in Woonsocket, RI, he lived a life of hard work, love, and devotion to his family. Through the health challenges in recent years, he met them with courage and grace, always keeping warmth, humor, and kindness.

Ron will be remembered for his strength, generosity, and the deep love he shared with those around him. He found joy in helping others, hunting, and fishing. In his earlier years, he was an active member of My One Wish and was named Man of the Year for the organization. He also served as the Vice President of Maspenock Rod and Gun Club in Milford, but his family was his greatest joy.

He is survived by his adoring wife of thirty-one years, Michelle St. Gelais of Milford; his mother-in-law, Barbara Rooney; his daughters, Christina Pedersen and her fiancé, James Manning of Hopedale, Tiffany Croteau and her husband, David Croteau of Blackstone, and Shannon O’Brien and her husband, Daniel O’Brien of Hopedale. Ron found pride in his grandchildren,  Mckenna and Cameron Pedersen, Colton Croteau, and Cailyn and Cooper O’Brien. They were the joys of his life. Not only does he leave behind his children and grandchildren, but also numerous nieces and nephews who adore their uncle and will remember him with love.  Ron is also survived by his two older brothers, Robert St. Gelais and his wife, Donna St. Gelais, of Bellingham, Richard St. Gelais and his wife, Pat, of Bellingham, and his sister, Joanne St. Gelais, of New York. He is preceded by his parents, Raoul and Rita St. Gelais of Woonsocket, RI.

A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.

Ron, Dad, Pepe, will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered always.
