Gigino "Gino" Cordani, 86,

Gigino "Gino" Cordani, 86, of Holliston, MA, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with a rare and aggressive form of Lymphoma.  Born on October 8, 1938, in the Village of Bore, Province of Parma, Italy. Gino was the cherished son of Bruno and Luigia Cordani. He was the brother of the late Walter Cordani and is survived by his sisters, Anne Marie Quiry and her husband Richard, and Olimpia McGrath and her husband Edward. He was preceded in death by his beloved sons, Gino and Michael, and his late in-laws, Louis V. Iarussi and Pauline (Montalbano) Iarussi, whose memories remained deeply cherished in his heart. Gino is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Jeanne (Iarussi) Cordani, of Holliston, MA. He also leaves behind his children: Paula Mazzeo and her husband Anthony, along with their daughters, Hope and Olivia;  Joni Siipola and her husband, Artie, along with children—Morgan Lane, her husband Brian, and their two children, Rosie and Tommy—and Michael Siipola, his wife Jenna, and their daughter, Edie, Anthony Cordani and his wife Michelle, along with their sons, Anthony, Chad, and Christopher; Richard Cordani and his wife Victoria, along with their daughters, Pauline and Lillianna.

After dedicating 46 years to the Cement Finishers Union Local 3, Gino’s craftsmanship became an enduring part of Massachusetts’ landscape. His skill and dedication contributed to some of the state’s most iconic landmarks, yet his proudest work was the homes he helped build for his children. His hands left an imprint not just on grand structures but on the foundation of the lives he cherished. His work was more than a career—it was a lasting legacy of love, skill, and dedication.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 13th, beginning at 9:30 A.M. at the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water Street A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 A.M. at Saint Mary’s Parish, Main St., Holliston, MA, with interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford, MA.  Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 12th, from 4 to 8 P.M.  In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to a charity of one's choice

I will never forget hauling 9 yards of white gold one wheel barrel at a time to create my rear patio at Gino's direction. It was the hardest three hours of labor in my life and a memory I have always cherished. His work was art and truly a labor of love. Thinking of all of you at this time and sending love and prayers. God Bless Gino!

The world will miss this wonderful husband and father. He raised an exceptional family and built many edifices that are credit to him. We will miss his dazzling smile and sense of humour. He was always ready to help wherever needed.
